242) GRATED MANGO PACHADI


GRATED MANGO PACHADI
A TANGY SIDE DISH TO GO WITH MANGO RICE


Ingredients:

     1)    Balance portion of the sour grated mango after making mango rice (around 3 tablespoonsful)
     2)    Hot green chili – 1 no.
     3)    Kashmiri chili powder – ½ teaspoon
     4)    Hot red chili powder – ½ teaspoon
     5)    Turmeric powder – 2 pinches
     6)    Asafoetida powder – 2 pinches
     7)    Tender curry leaves – 1 sprig
     8)    Coconut oil – 1 teaspoon
     9)    Salt – ½ teaspoon

To Make:

          Chop the green chili to fine rings. Pluck the curry leaves off their sprig. Put all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix nicely. Taste and adjust the seasoning if required. Your tangy grated mango pachadi is ready to serve.

Serve with mango rice or with any other rice dish.
